The other day I was talking to a friend about where my money goes. And it hit me—my love for secondhand fashion is actually part of my holistic lifestyle.
I spend intentionally. Organic veggies from the local farm. Non-toxic skincare. A red light therapy panel in my bathroom. Courses on the mind, emotional healing, and self-development. That’s where I invest big.
And clothes? I love them.
But I don’t need to overspend to feel like myself. That’s the beauty of fashion on a budget.
I still get designer clothing, still wear effortless style, but I buy it through sustainable fashion choices that let me have both: the outfit and the freedom.
That’s why I think secondhand is so holistic—it’s not about less.
It’s about confidence through clothing, not overextending yourself to “look the part.”
It’s a way to honor yourself, your body, your taste—and still have space for the other things that matter. That’s the balance I crave.
And if you’re building a capsule wardrobe, curating your own modern classic closet, or just figuring out how to feel like you again—secondhand might be your path too.
Want me to share more of the holistic tools I love? I'm so down.
With love,
Elian
